Every House of 3D print is quoted by the gram, and the material decides how the part feels, how strong it is and where it can live. Use this guide to pick the right one, or ask us on WhatsApp and we will recommend.

Pick the right material for the job

We print on a Bambu Lab P1S and P2S print farm for consistent, reliable results. Tell us how your part will be used and we will recommend a suitable material.

  • PLA General-purpose, detailed prints. Great for display models, gifts and prototypes.
  • PETG Tougher and more moisture-resistant than PLA. Good for functional parts and everyday use.
  • ABS Impact-resistant with higher heat tolerance. Suited to functional and mechanical parts.
  • ASA UV- and weather-resistant. A good choice for outdoor parts and fixtures.
  • TPU Flexible and durable. Used for grips, gaskets, phone cases and bendable parts.
  • PA-CF (Nylon carbon-fibre) High strength and stiffness. For demanding functional and engineering parts.
  • PC (Polycarbonate) High strength and heat resistance. For tough, load-bearing parts.
