Terms of service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the House Of 3D website and your purchase of products and services from us. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy.

Products and custom work

We try to describe and display products accurately, but colours, dimensions, surface finish, and appearance may vary because of screens, materials, production settings, and the nature of 3D printing. Custom and made-to-order work may have normal layer lines, support marks, and minor variations unless a particular finish is expressly agreed.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, 3D-printed products are not represented as food-safe, child-safe, medical, structural, load-bearing, or safety-critical. Use products only for their intended purpose and follow any product-specific instructions.

Every custom or made-to-order job is reviewed and approved by a House Of 3D team member before it is scheduled for printing. We may request changes, additional information, or decline a job that does not pass this review.

Orders and payment

Submitting an order is a request to purchase. An order is accepted when House Of 3D confirms it and payment is successfully processed. We may decline or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, information is materially incorrect, payment cannot be verified, the request is unlawful, or fulfilment is not reasonably possible. If we cancel an accepted order, we will arrange an appropriate refund where applicable.

Prices, applicable taxes, discounts, and shipping charges are shown at checkout or in the order confirmation. Prices and availability may change before an order is accepted.

Any price, weight, or print-time figure given before an order is confirmed is an estimate. Scaling, support structures, slicer settings, material behaviour, failed or re-run prints, finishing work, delivery, and applicable taxes can change the final cost. We will tell you before charging more than the quoted estimate.

Shipping and refunds

Shipping is arranged through Shiprocket and its carrier partners as described in our Shipping Policy. Refunds and other remedies are handled under our Refund Policy.

Customer files and intellectual property

If you provide a file, image, logo, or other material for a custom order, you represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for us to use it to fulfil your request. We may refuse work that appears to infringe rights, violate law, or create an unsafe product. Intellectual property in a design, file, or image you supply for a custom order remains yours; we use it only to produce and fulfil your order. House Of 3D retains rights in its own brand, original content, and designs. Third-party designs remain subject to their applicable licences.

If your order uses a third-party model (for example, from MakerWorld or another model repository), you are responsible for checking and following that model's licence. Many third-party models are licensed for personal use only — printing them for resale or other commercial use without the rights holder's permission may breach that licence. We will flag any licence restriction we are aware of, but you remain responsible for compliance.

Website use

You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious code, or use our content or services unlawfully.

Third-party services

Shopify provides the ecommerce platform and Shiprocket and its carrier partners may provide shipping services. Third-party services may have their own terms and policies. We remain responsible for our sale of products to you.

Limitation and applicable law

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, House Of 3D is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or products. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts in Nashik, Maharashtra will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or an order.
